O, Christmas Tree!

Thanksgiving looked a little different for us than normal this year for two reasons:

1. No snow.
2. No family.

We did, however, still have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. While we sincerely missed our family, the Lord provided "family" right here in Orlando for us to spend time with. On Thursday we spent the day with two friend and partners from college. We had a sweet time and, if I may say so myself, a sweet turkey. Erin and I nailed it, and the guys did an excellent job carving. :)

The rest of the weekend was filled with fellowship and catching up on rest. And, like many of you, putting up our tree! Thought we'd give you a glimpse into our house this week and show you how we got our tree up. Eliana happens to be taking a nap during the tree extravaganza, hence why you won't see her in the pictures.

Christmas stockings make great work gloves.

Oh, the anticipation.

Christmas Princess Leia's??

First Acacia called these "poconuts"...Then they were cranberries....Then we finally broke it to her that they were "holly berries".
She had fun decorating our wreath.

We were so pleased with our new look that we had to take another picture.Trevor deserves a gold star cause he worked the hardest.

And we have a Christmas tree, folks.

Acacia wanted her Dalmation pups to help watch over Baby Jesus.
Happy Thanksgiving to each one of you!

With love,

The Schuh family
