Taste Of Translation And Linguistics...TOTAL it up!

This morning Trevor and I led a devotional time with a group of "TOTAL It Up-ers". Wycliffe holds a week-long event where students (or even those beyond student-hood) can preview what it is like to be involved in linguistic work (TOTAL=Taste of Translation And Linguistics). The week is full of linguistic study, worship times together, ethnic foods, and getting to know the organization better. It's also exciting for us because we have a dear college friend who is here participating in it.

It was neat for us to be able to recount how God worked through the time we were raising support and building our partnership team, even considering it was not so long ago. I pray that I will never forget what God revealed to me about Himself during that time, nor the journey of the heart He took me on.

If you're at all interested in learning more about what linguistics actually looks like, we highly recommend you sign up for Total It Up. Trevor and I hope to go through it sometime in the next year and a half as we look to see where God will take us from here and whether or not it involves the linguistic side of things. If you're interested, let us know, and maybe we could all go to the same one!;)

In other news, Eliana is walking. 9 steps! In celebration, I thought I'd post a picture of the birthday girl (a couple weeks late) eating her birthday morning cupcake.

Thanks for keeping up!

Sarah
