Now that my washing machine is running, my kids are napping, and my husband is busy in class, I thought I'd take a moment to catch you up on the last few months of our lives in a little picture story.

First things first! As I'm sure you already know, we had a baby!
Laís Sofia Schuh was born on September 17, 2011 (in Kissimmee, FL), and
as you can tell from the picture...she makes us smile a bit. I just
love how happy the girls look in this picture.

| On November 2nd, along with the help of Trevor's parents, we made our way to the great state of Texas and moved
into our new home. This is essentially what our house looked like for a
good long while! This photo is courtesy of Acácia. |

| My parents came down for a visit and to help us unpack. That's my brother's little guy, Matias. We are so blessed that he now lives only 50 minutes away now! Considering they used to live in Korea, that's a hop, skip, and a jump away! |
| On November 18th, we took Laís in for her normal vaccinations and four hours later watched her have a pretty frightening reaction in what looked like a seizure. This of course was followed by numerous doctor visits and tests. We are thankful that she has had no other episode that mimicked exactly that first reaction and her results all came back normal. We continue to keep a close eye on her and do some more research in trying to figure out what to do in terms of vaccinations from here. You could pray for us in regards to this if you think of it! |
| Thankfully, our Christmas tree made it to Dallas! The girls had a great time helping Daddy put that up this year. |
| Just because she's cute. | |
December 25th was Eliana's 3rd Birthday, so in keeping with family tradition, we woke her up with a cupcake! There was one stubborn candle that she just COULDN'T get to blow out. It was quite puzzling to her as you can see her giving it "the look". Don't worry, though, big sister helped her snuff it out.
| She DID get to eat her cupcake for breakfast. You can decide whether we're awful parents or AWESOME parents...I think Eliana would choose the latter. haha. I think that's what matters...cause afterall, it was HER birthday! |
| While not the same as being with them in person, we were so thankful to be able to skype with Trevor's parents (happening below) and my parents (happening above) to celebrate Christmas and birthday. |
| Merry Christmas! For Christmas dinner we piled in the car and went to spend the day with my brother and his family (their little guy is hiding behind the candelabra) and my sister-in-law's brother and wife. A good time was had by all! |
Hope you enjoyed these pictures from the past few months. Keep posted for updates on our time here at school in Dallas!
